Conceived for a large urban plaza this table is designed with basic comfort, security, resistance to wind, (re)movability and weatherability in mind.
It is a contemporary lightweight table and is intended to be used in conjunction with New Picnic Chair. Although designed for an open street condition, the sitter(s) can freely rearrange the arrangement of chairs and tables to suit their particular needs.
The table top would be removed with relative ease allowing the legs to stack together for removal from the site.
Materials being considered are aluminum, steel and plastic.
