Final Piece of the Plaza

flying booth Today the bronze clad north guard booth landed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It marks the last component of the Olin-lead David H. Koch Plaza project which opened to the public in September 2014. Spatial Affairs Bureau provided architecture and site furnishings including two new utility buildings, as well as custom benches and parasols that sit at either end of the 5th Avenue facade. Olin's team also included Fluidity, l'Observatoire and Rick Mather USA inc.
